本作由围绕虚构小说的两个故事构成： 　　第一话《书架物语》讲述对书籍毫无兴趣的学生会长健一郎，在图书室邂逅自称"来自书籍被禁止的未来世界"的津木，故事由此展开。 　　第二话《埋藏》讲述描绘试图将已故人气小说家的遗体埋葬在"绝对无法被发现之地"的人们。
